Adding Images and Multimedia

Images and media make your surveys interactive and visually appealing. This increases the chances of improving your response rates. It not only sounds smart, it’s easy, too!

Using SoGoSurvey, you can add images and multimedia to questions and answer options as well.

Let’s take a look at how this can be done.

Add Media to Questions

The following steps will walk you through the process of adding images and multi-media to your survey questions:

  1. Under the Design tab, create a survey or edit an existing survey.
  2. Under Build, hover over a question and click on Edit.
  3. Click on the Add Media icon displayed to the right of the word ‘Question’.1You can either upload images and multimedia by browsing through files on your computer, or by adding the URL of an image from a website. Additionally, you can provide a caption and also set the position where the item should appear in relation to the question.

A maximum number of six images or multimedia can be added, and the size limit is 5 MB per file.

Add Media to Answer Options

Adding images/multimedia to answer options is also pretty simple, and the following steps will show you how:

  1. Under the Design tab, create a survey or edit an existing survey.
  2. Under Build, hover over a question and click on Edit.
  3. Click on the ‘Add media to this answer’ icon, displayed to the far right of each answer option.3You can either upload images and multimedia by browsing through files on your computer, or by adding the URL of an image from a website. Additionally, you can provide a caption and also set the position where the item should appear in relation to the answer option.4
  4. Be sure to save your settings and then click Done when you are finished.

You can add up to two media files for each answer option, and the size limit is 5MB per file. Up to 20 answer options may have media attached.
