The survey consisted of three parts:

  • An Overall Engagement dimension comprised of eight items specifically designed to measure each employee’s level of engagement. Based on the average of these questions, an “Engagement Score” can be computed for each respondent. Scores will be classified: Less Engaged (less than 3.5), Engaged (3.5 to 4.5) and Highly Engaged (4.5 to 5.0).
  • Engagement Drivers designed to measure a range of factors within an organizational environment that may impact engagement. These drivers are grouped into six unique categories which include Communication, Shared Values, Leadership, Feedback and Recognition, Work Environment, and Career Growth and Training Opportunities
  • Respondent Background items including employee type, years working with the organization, etc.
