                                          Automatic Email Alerts

Automate follow-up by sending instant email alerts to yourself, your team, or even your participants based on your chosen conditions. To ensure you don’t miss a single response, set your preferences before you go live.

                                          Instant Thanks

When participants submit their responses, you can display a Thank You Page, but a follow-up email can be a smart option, too.

For example: If your questionnaire is a request form, you might want to send a follow-up email with a copy of the request for the participant’s reference. If it’s an event registration form, send a follow-up email that confirms the registrant’s selected date and time (Piping!) and shares details on how to reschedule, if needed. Or, simply share a follow-up note to show appreciation and confirm receipt.

Choose to set up an Instant Thanks alert for every completed or incomplete response. Learn more about setting up Instant Thanks.

                                          Rules and Alerts

In some circumstances, it’s okay to wait until a survey is complete before you dedicate attention to evaluating results. But in some situations, it’s important to see a participant’s answers or to check in on a survey’s progress toward a goal.

Our Rules & Alerts feature allows you to define the conditions you’d like to track through powerful, customizable options. Learn more about how this feature works.

This feature is available only in our Enterprise plan. Contact us to take advantage of this option.

Among the reasons you might want to use this feature:

                                          • A survey is open for a long period of time and you might not be checking results regularly. For example, you might have a request form on your website, and you want to be notified whenever someone sends in a request.
                                          • You want to know when survey data crosses some threshold, such as a total of 200 responses, or even 200 responses from participants in the 18-24 age range. In this case, it’s important to keep tabs on the number of responses submitted, particularly for a large study in which you need to ensure data continues to be gathered.
                                          • A respondent’s answer to the survey is especially alarming, such as a negative rating on a feedback survey. This kind of trigger would benefit from a quick follow-up to deal with the situation.
