Customize Results Page

Customizing a post-submission page for your participants is a good idea. Including relevant customized information is even better.

For your Assessments, you can create different Thank you messages based on a participant’s score obtained, percentage obtained, number of correct answers, and even category scores. This allows you to show relevant messages for every person being assessed.

Follow the steps below to create different customized Thank you messages based on participant scores:

  1. Within the Assessment Tool, click on the Design tab.
  2. Select an Assessment, then click Edit.
  3. Click on Options at the top of the page.
  4. From the dropdown menu, click on Thank you Page.
  5. You have two options here: ‘Show a static Thank you message to all participants’ OR ‘Add Custom Messages’.
    • If you select to show a static Thank you message to all participants, you may still choose to pipe (insert) participant-specific results into the message, including Score/Percentage earned, Category Score/Percentage earned, or number of correct/incorrect answers.
    • If you would like to display different messages for participants based on their scores, select Add Custom Message.
  6. Next, add conditions for the Thank you message. Each message will be displayed to participants when the conditions you specify are met. These conditions can be based on Score/Percentage earned, Category Score/Percentage earned, or number of correct/incorrect answers. You can create up to 10 different Thank you messages here.
  7. In these customized messages, you can also pipe in (insert) these scoring variables to inform participants exactly how they fared in the assessment.

 

To pipe scoring variables into the Thank you message, follow the steps below:

  1. Within the Assessment Tool, click on the Design tab.
  2. Select an Assessment, then click Edit.
  3. Click on Options at the top of the page.
  4. From the dropdown menu, click on Thank you Page.
  5. Click on the Thank you Message you would like to edit.
  6. Now click ‘Pipe Answers and Scores’ on the right end of the edit menu.
  7. You now have the option to insert answers of questions answered by the participant and also scores obtained. Select an appropriate option from the dropdown menu and place your cursor where you want the value to be displayed.
  8. Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
