Account Notifications

At any moment, many different activities may be happening simultaneously within your account. To help keep you informed of key activity, automatic notifications about every important event appear in your account. These may be account-level activities, such as copying surveys across accounts, or survey-level activities, such as delivery of emails, receipt of a response, etc. While some of these events require an action, some are just for your information.

You may customize your notification settings by clicking the settings icon at the top of the notification list, or by navigating to Account Settings and selecting Notification Center.

Notification Center

There are 7 types of notifications:

  1. Copy Survey Request
    Shown when someone wants to copy a survey into your account. Action required. Once you accept or reject the request, the requester will be notified.
  2. Scheduled Invitations Delivered
    Displayed when scheduled invitations are delivered. No action required.
  3. Scheduled Reminders Delivered
    Appears when scheduled reminders are delivered. No action required.
  4. Participant Opt Out
    Notifies you when someone you sent an invitation opts out of the current survey or all future surveys. No action required.
  5. Survey Responses Received
    Informs you when a response to your survey has been received. No action required.
  6. Survey Expiration
    Displayed when a survey expiration rule you set up is executed. No action required.
  7. Update to Account Permissions
    Shown to sub-account holders whenever granted or denied specific permissions by the account administrator. No action required.

Notification Behavior

Every notification you receive is highlighted by a numeric counter on the bell icon on the top right corner of your screen. Simply click on the bell icon to view the received notifications. Notifications may vary by user within an account, based on the permission levels of sub-account users.

Once you open the notification list, notifications are considered read, and the numeric counter is reset. Each read notification stays in the list until the X to its right is clicked and it is dismissed. The notification list only contains the 50 most recent un-dismissed notifications.

To view past notifications, click on View Previous Notifications at the bottom of the notification list, or navigate to Notification Center within Account Settings. The Notification Center contains all notifications received in the last six months. All prior notifications are automatically archived.
