                                          Email Bounce

Bounced emails are invitations or reminders that could not be delivered to an email address. When an email bounces, Sogolytics classifies it as either a soft or a hard bounce.

Bounced-Hard: A hard bounce indicates a permanent reason an email cannot be delivered. Possible reasons include: Unknown host, Unknown user, Relay problem, Recipient email server has completely blocked delivery, or Any other technical problem.

Bounced-Soft: Soft bounces typically indicate a temporary delivery issue and are handled differently than hard bounces. This status indicates recent email sent to this address has been bounced back [not delivered] due to a full recipient mailbox. If an email invitation is shown as bounced-soft, you can resend by selecting the record in Track Survey and clicking ‘Resend Invite’.

Plain Text emails cannot be tracked for email read or bounced statuses.
